Brewdog on aika tunnettu brändi massasta erottuvista oluistaan, joskin olen huomannut yleisen
mielipiteen että uusimmat tuotokset ovat alkaneet mennä huonompaan suuntaan. Back to basic meininki siis ja maistetaan olutta mikä on ollut markettien hyllyissä jo hoi kotvasen.

Ulkonäkö & Tuoksu:
Vaahto on aneeminen yhden sormen korkuinen ja katosi todella nopeasti. Väritys taas on oikein hieno, utuisen kullankeltainen.

Tuoksussa on vahvasti hedelmää ja niitä onkin melkoinen nippu: Sitrusta, mandariinia, mangoa ja ananasta. Yrttiset vibatkin löytyy neilikan muodossa ja onpa tuossa hiivakin tuoksussa.

Maku:
Maussa onkin sitten karamellisia elementtejä kuorutettuna sokerilla, suutuntuma on kuitenkin pehmeän liukas kovista hiilihapoista huolimatta. Maussa on runsaasti hedelmää mitä esiintyi jo tuoksussa, mangoa, sitrusta, greippiä ja veriappelsiinia. Jälkimaku on pitkään kestävä, appelsiinin kuoria muistuttava ja suorastaan kirpeä.

Helposti juotava olut, ohut runko ei haittaa kun on muuten makumaailma kohdallaan. Aika hyvin on balanssissa

Brewdog is a pretty well known brand of beer that stands out from mass, although I have heard that the beers aren't that good anymore. So back to basic, and let's taste beer that have been on the shelf for a long time.

Appearance & Aroma:
The foam is disappointing, only one-finger thick and it vanishes quickly. The color on the other hand is pretty good, hazy and golden.

The aroma reminds strongly of fruits, and a lot of them: Citrus, mandarin, mango and pineapple are distinguishable. There are also herbal vibes in the form of clove, and there is a hint of yeast.

Taste:
The taste has elements of caramel, coated with sugar. This beer feels soft and slippery in the mouth regardless of the high carbonation. Upon tasting you can find plenty of the fruits that were recognizable in the aroma, like mango, citrus, grapefruit and blood orange. The aftertaste lasts long, it reminds me of the skin of oranges and is quite sour.

A beer that is easy to drink. The thin body does no harm as the taste pallet is overall rather well balanced.
